My recent stay at Bakpak was incredible! The affordable price and friendly backpacker atmosphere were unbeatable. The 12-bed dorm I stayed in was cozy and comfortable, with a heating unit to keep me warm. The common room was spacious and had a great selection of DVDs. The location was convenient, with a subway station and 7-eleven nearby. I highly recommend this hostel for a budget-friendly and fun stay in Tokyo.

There was one staff that was really unfriendly to us when we checked in.. But the other staff, the man was nice and helped us find out way to the airport.

The rooms were really dirty..the beds were on the floor and it was a dirty floor.. =.=;; the sheets were dirty thin...and it was an uncomfrtable stay..I Have slept on Japanese style beds before and this was just cheap and dirty ..

Staff at reception were nice and free internet in rooms is great

the rooms were far too small, the matress was filthy, the toilet room was far too small to get into as i an 6ft 5 i couldnt fit in, smell of sewage in the bedroom

This hostel was cheap and the room quite large for our family of 4. It was quite close to the metro, the shower was good and the neighbourhood was nice and quiet.

The shared areas were dirty, floors had not been cleaned. The bedroom was cleaner but tired and the bathroom was mouldy. Just a bit grotty.

Staff were friendly and helpful with directions to various places. Rooms were reasonably clean. Hostel was close to train station, which made it easy to get to tour around.

Beds were a little uncomfortable (mattresses very thin). Shower drains were a little dirty and clogged up.

Friendly staff, clean hostel, not too far from Asakusa and Ueno.

Double bed is a bit small but that's to be expected in Japan. Toilet was also a tight squeeze.
